Mayne Island Lions Club Charter Night 2014

There will be a sumptuous banquet of beef expertly roasted, followed by some abbreviated speechifying, then the presentation of the Mayne Islander of the Year Award for 2014, and finally, when our dignitaries have nothing more to say, you may dance the night away. Lions members are offered first chance to buy tickets until 15 October (contact Peter Hansche, [email protected] or tel. 539-5850). Then the sale is opened to the public. After October 18th, you may buy tickets at the Home Hardware, or at the Sunny Mayne Bakery, where we shall deposit unsold tickets which will be available for purchase until November 2, unless the supply runs out earlier. Tickets cost only $25.00 each. We are delighted to welcome non-Lions to our Charter Night and we hope to see many new faces at the school gymnasium which will be transformed into a banquet hall for our gala evening.
