2014, July 1st. Canada Day Celebrations at Dinner Bay Park

Activities included:
- Lions Club Flea Market with quality items to sell, and an antiques and collectibles mart sponsored by the Silver Maynes.
- hamburgers and hot dogs to eat, (proceeds to the Legion), and bingo games (proceeds to the Lions scholarship fund).
- Beer Garden, and, starting about 12:20, musical entertainment by "Ray & Lo".
- At 12 noon, the Royal Canadian Legion raising the flag of Canada on the flagpole at Dinner Bay, and the assembled citizens of Mayne Island singing our National Anthem in English and French. A day to remember.
