Join the Mayne Island Lions Club for our biggest community celebration of the year! End your summer with a ROAR! Enjoy good food, great company, and one last big bite of summer — in support of the Lions, whose generosity helps causes and projects across our island thrive. Start your morning with the Community Dog Show (registration 9 AM, show 10 AM), then enjoy salmon and chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs hot off the grill, live music, bingo, kids’ activities, and so much more beginning at noon. All proceeds support Lions Club programs right here on Mayne Island.
A Feast Worth Saving Room For
We’re firing up the grills for a full community feast. Choose from grilled salmon or chicken, or spanakopita for vegetarians — all served with corn, potatoes, Caesar salad, ice cream, and brownies. The Lions legendary hamburgers and hot dogs available as well! Plus: a licensed beer garden for adults.

Enter the Mayne Island Community Dog Show!
Think your pup has what it takes? Our Community Dog Show returns on September 6 — and we welcome all dogs, all breeds, all ages, all personalities. Whether your dog is a champion heeler or a champion couch potato, there’s a category for them. No advance registration needed — just arrive by 9:00 AM on the day and register on-site. The show gets underway at 10:00 AM.
